CITY OF ST ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION#02-072 <br /> • <br /> A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE CITY OF ST.ANTHONY 2003 TAX LEVY <br /> AND BUDGET IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRUTH IN TAXATION ACT <br /> WHEREAS, the Truth in Taxation Law requires the City of St. Anthony provide <br /> Hennepin and Ramsey Counties with a certified 2003 tax levy and budget; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the City Manager's proposed 2003 budget; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a Public Hearing on December 9, 2002, 7:00 P.M. in <br /> its Council Chambers to discuss the tax levy with the residents of St. Anthony; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the information required for the City to calculate a definitive tax levy has been <br /> collected. <br /> • NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> 1) The 2003 property tax levy is: <br /> Property Tax—General Fund(Levy Limit) $2,168,627 <br /> Road Improvement Levy $ 470,921 <br /> HRA Levy $ 55,500 <br /> Tax Abatement Levy/Central Park $ 28,993 <br /> PERA Rate Increase Levy $ 7,50 <br /> Total 2003 Tax Levy $2,731,541 <br /> 2) Total Operating Budget totals$8,072,900 <br /> Adopted this 9 �' day of Decemli&r , 2002. <br /> Mayor <br /> • ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for Administration: <br /> City Mahager <br />
