ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 03-015 <br /> A RESOLUTION CALLING A HEARING ON PROPOSED <br /> ASSESSMENT FOR 2003 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, by direction of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony, a proposed <br /> assessment of the cost of the following improvements has been prepared: <br /> 2003 Street and Utility Improvements Project <br /> 1. Edward Street: 33'd Avenue Northeast to 34`h Avenue Northeast <br /> 2. 34`h Avenue Northeast: Stinson Boulevard to Silver Lake Road <br /> 3. Belden Drive: 33'd Avenue Northeast to 34`h Avenue Northeast <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of St. <br /> Anthony: <br /> 1. A hearing shall be held on the 11th day of February 2003 in the City <br /> Council Chambers at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, to <br /> pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all <br /> • persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given <br /> an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on <br /> the proposed assessment to be published twice in the official <br /> newspaper at least two weeks prior to the haring, and shall state in the <br /> notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause <br /> mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the <br /> assessment roll not less than 10 days prior to the hearing. <br /> 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to <br /> certification of the assessment to the County Auditor,pay the whole of <br /> the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of <br /> payment, to the City Clerk, except that no interest shall be charged if <br /> the entire assessment is paid by November 14`h of the assessed year. <br /> The owner may,at any time thereafter,pay to the Finance Director the <br /> entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid,with interest <br /> accrued to December of the year in which such payment is made. <br /> • <br /> CADocuments and Settings\CKroeplin\Local Settingffemponry Internet <br /> Files\01-01)\Resolution Calling a Hearing Proposed Assessments03-xxx.doc <br />
