CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 03-016 <br /> • A RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND <br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted May 28`h,2002,a report was prepared by <br /> WSB&Associates,Inc.to evaluate the City of St.Anthony's Water Supply and Sanitary <br /> Sewer System Infrastructure, <br /> WHEREAS, the report recommended the: <br /> 1. Replacement of trunk Sanitary Sewer main from 27`h Avenue South to the City of <br /> Minneapolis. <br /> 2. Construction of a new 10-inch water main loop along Kenzie Terrace South <br /> of St.Anthony Boulevard. <br /> WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary,cost <br /> effective,and feasible. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St.Anthony that: <br /> 1) The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report at an <br /> estimated total cost of the improvement of S 1,050,000. <br /> 2) WSB&Associates,Inc.is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement, and is directed to <br /> prepare plans,specifications and bid documents for making such improvements. <br /> • 3) The consulting engineering firm shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the <br /> Construction Bulletin,an advertisement for bids.The advertisement shall be published for two items, <br /> shall specify the work to be done,shall state that bids will be opened on April 10,2003 and bids the <br /> responsibility for bidders will be considered by the City Council at 7:00 P.M.on April 22,2003 in the <br /> Council Chambers of the City Hall. Any bidders whose responsibility is questioned during <br /> consideration of the bid will be given the opportunity to address the Council on the issue of <br /> responsibility.
