CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br /> • RESOLUTION 03 -054 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br /> RELATING TO PROPERTIES CURRENTLY ADDRESSED AS <br /> 3501 AND 3505 SILVER LAKE ROAD <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Anthony desires to construct a new Fire Station on <br /> City-owned properties addressed as 3501 and 3505 Silver Lake Road; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council previously appointed Oertel Architects to construct the Fire Station; and <br /> WHEREAS, Oertel Architects has submitted a conditional use permit request because said properties <br /> are in an R-1, single family residential zoning district; and <br /> WHEREAS, at a public hearing,held on July 15, 2003, the Planning Commission reviewed said <br /> request and recommended Council approval, subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. Lighting: spillage will be cut off at the property line and be down lighting;lighting <br /> should conform to other lighting in the municipal complex area <br /> 2. Informational listing from the Fire Department:naming what the Fire Department will do <br /> to minimize noise, etc. to the surrounding residential neighborhood <br /> • 3. Rework the plan for the following changes: dress up the blank front wall/design and <br /> make it more attractive with trees,etc.; further development of roof forms <br /> 4. The building with the flat roof lines/design across the whole building is preferred to the <br /> arch design that was an alternate. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St.Anthony hereby <br /> approves the request for a conditional use permit, submitted by Oertel Architects,for City-owned <br /> property currently addressed as 3501 and 3505 Silver Lake Road,to allow construction of a new Fire <br /> Station and upon conformity to the above-stated conditions. <br /> Adopted this a day of �.�i , 2003. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for Administration: <br /> City Manager <br />
