ANTHONY <br /> • RESOLUTION 03-071 <br /> A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR KENZIE TERRACE/27TH AVENUE NE <br /> SEWER AND WATER IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan <br /> for the above-referenced project, bids were received, opened and tabulated <br /> according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the <br /> advertisement: <br /> Bidder/Address Total Bid <br /> Contractor Total Bid <br /> 1. Thomas & Sons, Inc. $480,492.70 <br /> 2. S.M. Hentges & Sons, Inc. $596,004.39 <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that Thomas & Sons of Rogers, MN is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony: <br /> 1. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br /> with Thomas & Sons, Inc. in the amount of$480,492.70 in the name of the City of St. <br /> Anthony, Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above-referenced project according <br /> to the plans and specifications, therefore, approved by the City Council and on file in the <br /> office of the City Clerk. <br /> 2.
