• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br /> RESOLUTION 03 - 079 <br /> A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE NORTH <br /> SUBURBAN MUTUAL AID ASSOCIATION <br /> WHEREAS, the St. Anthony Fire Department is one of 33 fire departments making up the <br /> North Suburban Mutual Aid Association; and <br /> WHEREAS, fire departments have found that they are unable to request and collect <br /> reimbursement funds from F.E.M.A.; and <br /> WHEREAS, over the past several months,many mutual aid agreements have been under <br /> review to incorporate language to allow invoicing services after a specific amount <br /> of time to: <br /> I. Provide the capability to charge for reimbursable expenses in rendering aid to <br /> another community from an extended event, <br /> 2. Have the ability to have said expenses to be reimbursable from a Declared Federal <br /> • Disaster Designation, and <br /> 3. Maintain the original intention of the agreement to be a reciprocal agreement for <br /> most incidents when aid is rendered to another communities' fire department. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> hereby approves the amended contract with the North Suburban Mutual Aid Association, <br /> attached herewith. <br /> Adopted this ;S day of f _ _ 1 - ���c> , 2003. <br /> ayor <br /> ATTEST: t-Tc .e, �z� <br /> City Clerk <br /> • Reviewed for Administration: <br /> City Nfanager <br /> i <br />
