CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br /> RESOLUTION 03 - 088 <br /> A RESOLUTION RELATING TO COMMUNITY SERVICES <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Anthony recognizes that Community Services <br /> provides a variety of recreational opportunities and senior citizen activities to <br /> community residents; and <br /> WHEREAS, due to changes enacted by the State Legislature, St. Anthony-New Brighton <br /> School District#282 no longer is allowed to levy$54,000 for the cost of operating <br /> Community Services; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council supports recreational opportunities and senior citizen activities <br /> for residents of the community and wishes Community Services to continue to <br /> provide these services; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony's Finance Director performed an analysis to determine <br /> available funding through the City for said services for 2004. <br /> • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> hereby authorizes $27,000 be transferred from the Tires Plus Building Fund to fund the 2004 <br /> Community Services deficit. ` <br /> Adopted this 14 day of 2003. <br /> yor <br /> ATTEST: &a ILL <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for Administration: <br /> City Manger <br />
