• <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: July 10, 2003 <br /> TO: Mike Mornson, City Manager <br /> FROM: Roger Larson, Finance Director <br /> ITEM: MATERIAL MODIFICATION TO FLEX BENEFIT PLAN <br /> The City of St. Anthony provides employees the opportunity to pay for certain employee <br /> benefits, health care costs and day care expenses on a pre-tax basis through an established <br /> Flex Benefit Plan. <br /> Stanton Group, who administers our flex benefit program, recommends the Plan be <br /> amended to add over-the-counter drugs as reimbursable under the health insurance <br /> • language of the Plan. <br /> In addition, they revised language regards faxed claims and will enact a reimbursement <br /> minimum. The governing body must approve changes via resolution. <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Council approves resolution #30-096 amending the City of St. Anthony's Flexible <br /> Benefit Plan. <br />
