• CITY OF ST.ANTHONY VILLAGE <br /> RESOLUTION 04-019 <br /> A RESOLUTION TO DENY A VARIANCE AND CONDITIONAL <br /> USE PERMIT FOR 3259 STINSON BOULEVARD <br /> WHEREAS, a request for a variance and a conditional use permit to allow additional fuel pumps at <br /> Ali's Mini Mart,3259 Stinson Boulevard,was considered at a public hearing held before <br /> the Planning Commission on January 20,2004;and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended Council deny said variance request,citing the <br /> following: <br /> 1. The property can be put to reasonable use. <br /> 2. The circumstances regarding the variance are not unique to the property. <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended Council deny said conditional use permit,as <br /> well,citing the following: <br /> 1. The size of the lot was deemed insufficient to warrant this size of expansion.The <br /> lot size is approximately 7,630 square feet; the minimum lot required for <br /> commercially zoned property is 15,000 square feet. <br /> • 2. The addition would become a safety issue for persons residing or working in the <br /> vicinity due to the increased traffic which would be created with additional fuel <br /> Pumps. <br /> WHEREAS, upon consideration of said requests and recommendations by the Planning Commission, <br /> the City Council finds in agreement with the recommendations. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony agrees with <br /> the Planning Commission rationale and hereby denies the variance and conditional use permit requests <br /> for 3259 Stinson Boulevard. <br /> Adopted this U-'7 day of � ' 2 c ,204. <br /> ayor <br /> ATTEST: ( c C L <br /> City Clerk <br /> • Reviewed for Administration: <br /> City Ma ager <br />
