CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> • RESOLUTION 04-057 <br /> A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR PHASE II: 39" AVENUE STREET <br /> AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan <br /> for the above-referenced project,bids were received, opened and tabulated <br /> according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the <br /> advertisement: <br /> Bidder Total Bid <br /> 1. Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. $628,714.00 <br /> 2. Midwest Asphalt Corporation $636,582.66 <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that Forest Lake Contracting, Inc., Forest Lake, MN is the lowest <br /> responsible bidder. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony: <br /> • 1. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br /> with Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. in the amount of 628,714.00 in the name of the City of St. <br /> Anthony, Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above-referenced project according <br /> to the plans and specifications, therefore, approved by the City Council and on file in the <br /> office of the City Clerk. <br /> 2.
