ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 05-017 <br /> A RESOLUTION CALLING A HEARING ON PROPOSED <br /> ASSESSMENT FOR 2005 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, by direction of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony, a proposed assessment <br /> of the cost of the following improvement has been prepared: <br /> 2005 Street and Utility Improvements Project <br /> This project consists of street reconstruction replacement, or new construction of <br /> sanitary sewer, water main and storm sewer lines on the following streets: <br /> 1. St. Anthony Road <br /> 2. Roosevelt Street from 31St Avenue to 33rd Avenue <br /> 3. Edwards Street from 31St Avenue to 32nd Avenue <br /> 4. Edwards Street from St. Anthony Road to 33rd Avenue <br /> 5. 31St Avenue from Stinson Boulevard to Wilson Street <br /> 6. Roosevelt Court <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony: <br /> • 1. A hearing shall be held on the 8th day of February 2005, in the City Council <br /> Chambers at 7:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible, to pass upon such <br /> proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property <br /> affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with <br /> reference to such assessment. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the <br /> proposed assessment to be published twice in the official newspaper at least <br /> two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the <br /> improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the <br /> owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than 10 days <br /> prior to the hearing. <br /> 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification <br /> of the assessment to the County Auditor,pay the whole of the assessment on <br /> such property, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Clerk, <br /> except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid by <br /> November 14th of the assessed year. <br /> The owner may, at any time thereafter,pay to the Finance Director the entire <br /> amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to <br /> • December of the year in which such payment is made.
