• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br /> RESOLUTION 05-053 <br /> A RESOLUTION REGARDING RENEWAL OF INSURANCE COVERAGE AND THE <br /> WAIVER OF TORT LIABILITY LIMITS FOR THE LMCIT INSURANCE PROGRAM. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Anthony hereby approves participation in the <br /> League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust (LMCIT) insurance program for the <br /> year 2005/2006; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has elected to purchase liability coverage in the amount of$1,000,000.00 <br /> per occurrence, as set forth in the MN Statutes 466.04. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony hereby approves the <br /> renewal of insurance coverage through the League of Minnesota Cities at a cost of$163,708.00 <br /> for the policy period June 1, 2005 to May 31, 2006. <br /> IN ADDITION, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony hereby <br /> approves the renewal of municipal off-sale liquor insurance for its off-sale stores (Market Place <br /> and Silver Lake Village) in the amount of$11,250.00 for the policy period of June 1, 2005 to <br /> • May 31, 2006. <br /> THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> hereby approves waiving of the monetary limits on tort liability established by MN statute <br /> 466.04 to the extent of the limits of the liability coverage obtained from the LMCIT for the <br /> policy period of June 1, 2005 to May 31, 2006. <br /> Adopted this day of ) 2005. <br /> Mayor <br /> .&I, j/y/ Al/j <br /> ATTEST: i W <br /> City Clerk <br /> Review for Administration: <br /> City Mahager <br />
