ANTHONY <br /> • RESOLUTION 05-056 <br /> A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR 39" AVENUE PHASE 3 <br /> RECONSTRUCTION STREET, SANITARY SEWER, WATER MAIN, <br /> STORM SEWER, AND APPURTENANT WORK <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan <br /> for the above-referenced project,bids were received, opened and tabulated <br /> according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the <br /> advertisement: <br /> Contractor Total Bid <br /> 1 Forest Lake Contracting $825,703.40 <br /> 2 Park Construction $876,543.06 <br /> 2 Northdale Construction, Inc. $913,811.25 <br /> Engineer's Opinion of Cost $768,968.25 <br /> • WHEREAS, it appears that Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. of Forest Lake, MN is the lowest <br /> responsible bidder. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony: <br /> 1. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br /> with Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. in the amount of$825,703.40 in the name of the City of <br /> St. Anthony, Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above-referenced project <br /> according to the plans and specifications, therefore, approved by the City Council and on file <br /> in the office of the City Clerk. <br /> 2. <br /> 3.
