ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 06-035 <br /> A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FOSS ROAD LIFT STATION FEASIBILITY <br /> REPORT AND ORDERING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND ADVERTISEMENT FOR <br /> BIDS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted October 25, 2005 a report was <br /> prepared by WSB &Associates, Inc. with reference to the improvement of: <br /> 1. Sanitary Sewer in 39th Avenue from Silver Lake Road to Foss Road <br /> 2. Foss Lift Station <br /> 3. Foss Road Lift Station forcemain from the Lift Station to Roseville <br /> WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br /> necessary, cost effective, and feasible. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony that: <br /> 1) The Council will consider the improvements to the Foss Road Lift Station, sanitary sewer <br /> • and forcemain in accordance with the report at an estimated total cost of the improvement <br /> of$1,865,000. <br /> 2) WSB &Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. They <br /> shall prepare plans for making such improvement. <br /> 3) The consulting engineering firm shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official <br /> paper and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of <br /> such improvements under such plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be <br /> published for two times, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be <br /> opened in July 2006 and bids may be considered by the City Council at 7:00 p.m. on July <br /> 25, 2006 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall. Any bidder whose responsibility is <br /> questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the <br /> Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed <br /> with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or certified <br /> check payable to the City of St. Anthony for Five (5%)percent of the amount of such bid. <br /> F)Council Meehngs120061041120061Resolution 05-035 doc <br />
