ANTHONY <br /> • RESOLUTION 06-037 <br /> A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE SANITARY SEWER INFILTRATION AND <br /> INFLOW REDUCTION PLAN <br /> WHEREAS, Metropolitan Council Environmental Services has identified the City of St. <br /> Anthony Village as having excessive inflow and infiltration of clear water into <br /> the sanitary sewer system, <br /> WHEREAS, the MCES is proposing to surcharge the City of St.Anthony Village <br /> approximately$120,000 annually for the next 10 years to address I/I into the <br /> sanitary sewer system, <br /> WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony desires to reduce inflow and infiltration into the sanitary <br /> sewer system and avoid MCES surcharge fees, <br /> NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of St.Anthony that: <br /> • 1) The City adopts the Sanitary Sewer Infiltration and Inflow Reduction Plan as prepared for the <br /> City of St. Anthony Village by WSB &Associates.. <br /> 2) City ordinances be revised to allow for the inspection of all homes relating to illegal sanitary <br /> sewer connections and establish fines and procedures for non compliance. <br /> Adopted this day of 2006. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: �{ <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: City Manager <br /> Manager <br /> • <br /> K\1065-57\Resolution 06-037 APP PLANS AND SPECS.doc <br />
