• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 06-043 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT TO DEVELOP, CONSTRUCT,AND OPERATE THE <br /> SILVERWOOD PARK REGIONAL SPECIAL RECREATION FEATURE PURSUANT <br /> TO THE THREE RIVERS PARK DISTRICT MASTER PLAN. <br /> WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony recognizes Silverwood Park is identified in the <br /> Metropolitan Council's 2030 Regional Parks Policy Plan as a proposed special recreation <br /> feature; and <br /> WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony has participated fully as a member of the Master Planning <br /> Group whose work serves as the basis for the Silverwood Park Master Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony recognizes that Three Rivers Park District has conducted <br /> numerous public meetings and gathered public input in the development of a master plan for <br /> Silverwood Park; and <br /> WHEREAS,The City of St. Anthony recognizes that Three Rivers Park District has developed a <br /> Master Plan for the Development and Operation of Silverwood Park; and <br /> WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony supports the development of Silverwood Park as a <br /> regional special recreation feature pursuant to the Three Rivers Park District Master Plan. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of St. Anthony supports the <br /> Silverwood Park Master Plan and hereby recommends that the Three Rivers Park District <br /> expedite the development of a regional special recreation feature within the conditions and <br /> guidelines delineated by the District's Board of Commissioners in the Master Plan. <br /> Adopted this 25th day of April, 2006. <br /> rTIAYOR <br /> ATTEST: h) I 11Y1/hll�J A/Jf <br /> TY CLERK <br /> REVIEW FOR ADMINISTRATION: <br /> CITY MANAGER <br /> 0 <br />
