• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br /> RESOLUTION 06-054 <br /> APPROVING THE GAMBLING LICENSE BY THE LIONS CLUB OF <br /> NORTHEAST MINNEAPOLIS AT THE VILLAGE PUB LOCATED AT 2714 <br /> HIGHWAY 88 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony entered into a development agreement with <br /> Amcon Corporation on November 3, 2003; and <br /> WHEREAS, the development agreement stated that in the lease for the restaurant unit <br /> it shall require the tenant to offer charitable gambling on the premises <br /> continuously for so long as such lease is legally permitted at the <br /> restaurant; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Lions Club or Northeast Minneapolis will share profits on a 50% basis <br /> after the first$1,000 in profit with the St. Anthony Sports Boosters,St. <br /> Anthony Chamber and the St. Anthony Lions Club; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Lions Club of Northeast Minneapolis has secured a lease with the <br /> Village Pub. <br /> NOW THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED that the City of St. Anthony approves gambling <br /> license by the Lions Club of Northeast Minneapolis at the Village Pub located at 2714 <br /> Highway 88. <br /> Adopted this 23rd day of May, 2006 <br /> ayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> FOR ADMINISTRATION: <br /> • City Ma ager <br /> FACouncil Meet ings\2006\05232006\modi fiedcharitable gambling doc <br />
