CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 06-071 <br /> A RESOLUTION DEFERRING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS <br /> FOR 2006 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statues 435.193, special assessment installment <br /> payments payable by senior citizens and persons retired by virtue of <br /> permanent and total disability are deferred if payment of such installments <br /> would be a hardship; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of S. Anthony's assessment policy for senior citizen deferrals has <br /> been established for upgrading public roadways; and <br /> WHEREAS, such policy defines it shall be presumed a hardship exists if the annual <br /> assessment installment exceeds one percent (1%) of the previous year's <br /> Federal Income Taxes total adjusted gross income; and <br /> WHEREAS, the requirements of hardship have been met and verified by the Finance <br /> Director of the City of St. Anthony; and <br /> • WHEREAS, the applicant listed below is the owner/owners of real estate located in the <br /> City of St. Anthony. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following special assessments for the <br /> 2006 Street Improvement Project be deferred: <br /> 1) Janina K.
