ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 07-015 <br /> A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE COST TO BE ASSESSED <br /> AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br /> WHEREAS, costs have been determined for the improvement of: <br /> 1. 27`h Avenue N.E. from Stinson Boulevard to Coolidge Street. <br /> 2. Pahl Avenue from Roosevelt to Wilson Street. <br /> 3. Roosevelt Street N.E. north of 27`h Street. <br /> 4. Alleys between Roosevelt and Wilson Street; north and south of Pahl <br /> Avenue. <br /> 5. Alley south of 271h Street from Stinson Boulevard to Wilson Street. <br /> 6. 390'Avenue N.E. from Silver Lake Road to Chandler Drive. <br /> 7. Chandler Drive from 391h Avenue N.E. to Foss Road. <br /> 8. Foss Road Lift Station. <br /> 9. Foss Road Lift Station forcemain from the lift station to Roseville. <br /> 10. Highcrest Drive Sidewalk and Lighting from 37`h Avenue to 33`d Avenue. <br /> 11. Old Highway 8 Sidewalk and Lighting from 33`d Avenue to 29`h Avenue. <br /> and the bid price for such an improvement is $3,484,012.56, and the total cost of the <br /> improvement will be approximately $4,450,000.00. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony: <br /> 1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City is hereby <br /> declared to be approximately $3,920,000.00, and the portion of the cost to be <br /> assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be approximately <br /> $530,000.00. <br /> 2. Assessments shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a <br /> period of 15 years,the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first <br /> Monday in 2008, and shall bear interest at the rate of 2 percent(2%) above the <br /> City's borrowing rate at the time the bonds are issued. <br /> 3. The Consulting Engineer shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be <br /> specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or <br /> parcel of land within the district affected,without regard to cash valuation, as <br /> provided by law,and the City Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed <br /> assessment in the office for public inspection. <br /> 4.
