ANTHONY <br /> • RESOLUTION 07-016 <br /> A RESOLUTION CALLING A HEARING ON PROPOSED <br /> ASSESSMENT FOR 2007 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, by direction of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony, a proposed assessment of <br /> the cost of the following improvement has been prepared: <br /> 2007 Street and Utility Improvements Project <br /> This project consists of street reconstruction replacement, or new construction of <br /> sanitary sewer, water main and storm sewer lines on the following streets: <br /> 1. 271h Avenue N.E. from Stinson Boulevard to Coolidge Street. <br /> 2. Pahl Avenue from Roosevelt to Wilson Street. <br /> 3. Roosevelt Street N.E. north of 27th Street. <br /> 4. Alleys between Roosevelt and Wilson Street; north and south of Pahl <br /> Avenue. <br /> 5. Alley south of 27th Street from Stinson Boulevard to Wilson Street. <br /> 6. 391h Avenue N.E. from Silver Lake Road to Chandler Drive. <br /> 7. Chandler Drive from 39th Avenue N.E. to Foss Road. <br /> • 8. Foss Road Lift Station. <br /> 9. Foss Road Lift Station forcemain from the lift station to Roseville. <br /> 10. Highcrest Drive Sidewalk and Lighting from 37`h Avenue to 33`d Avenue. <br /> 11. Old Highway 8 Sidewalk and Lighting from 33`d Avenue to 29th Avenue. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony: <br /> 1. A hearing shall be held on the 131h day of February 2007, in the City Council <br /> Chambers at 7:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible, to pass upon such <br /> proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property <br /> affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with <br /> reference to such assessment. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed <br /> assessment to be published twice in the official newspaper at least two weeks <br /> prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the <br /> improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner <br /> of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than 10 days prior to the <br /> hearing. <br /> 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of <br /> the assessment to the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br /> • property, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Clerk, except <br /> that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid by November 14`h <br /> C:\Documents and Settings\barb suciu\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK4\RES 07-14-Hearing on Assessment-010907.doc <br />
