• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 07-050 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING ENTERING INTO A <br /> UTILITY CONTRACT WITH XCEL ENERGY TO PERFORM <br /> UTILITY RELOCATION AND UNDERGROUND UTILITY INSTALLATION <br /> ALONG SILVER LAKE ROAD <br /> WHEREAS, Hennepin County has proposed to improve Silver Lake Road from St. Anthony <br /> Boulevard N.E. to 37`h Avenue N.E. within the City of St. Anthony. <br /> WHEREAS, for roadway and public utility improvements to occur in 2008, it is desirable to <br /> relocate private utilities in 2007 to reduce potential for private utility conflicts during <br /> the proposed construction work. <br /> WHEREAS, all private utility relocation shall include moving existing overhead utilities <br /> underground within the Silver Lake Road right of way and connecting to individual <br /> residences. <br /> WHEREAS, funding for the Silver Lake Road Project has been identified in the Key Financial <br /> Management Plan for Capital projects. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony that: <br /> I) The City will enter into a contractual agreement with Xcel Energy to fund the costs of <br /> relocating overhead power lines and service lines underground, including all lines <br /> connecting to existing residences, not to include the meter box installation and internal <br /> wiring, along Silver Lake Road. <br /> 2) Xcel Energy will provide detailed final costs for relocating all facilities along Silver <br /> Lake Road in the estimated amount of$900,000 to $920,000. <br /> 3) $1,200,000.00 be transferred to the Silver Lake Road Project from the following funds: <br /> i. $798,585.00 from Fund#321 Chandler TIF. <br /> ii. $ 50,603.00 from Fund #701 ,tility Fund(Water/Sewer Connection Fees). <br /> iii. $350,812.00 from F d-#702-' Water Fund. <br /> Adopted this 26th day of June, 2007. <br /> Mayor a�Tem' <br /> r <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City'Oerk <br /> • Reviewed for administration: X////v� <br /> City M ager <br /> Z.-Council Meetings1200710626071Resolution 07-050(2).doc <br />
