ANTHONY VILLAGE <br /> RESOLUTION 08-018 <br /> APPROVAL OF CITY MANAGER'S ATTENDANCE OF THE INTERNATIONAL CITY <br /> MANAGER'S ASSOCIATION (ICMA) CONFERENCE IN RICHMOND,VA <br /> WHEREAS, the St. Anthony City Manager is an active member of the International City <br /> Manager's Association,which is an education and professional association <br /> whose mission is to create excellence in local governance by developing and <br /> fostering professional local government management;and <br /> WHEREAS, the ICMA holds an annual conference for the purpose of supporting their <br /> educational goals and providing an opportunity to meet and network with other <br /> local government professionals; and <br /> WHEREAS, the 2008 ICMA Annual Conference is scheduled for September 20, 2008 through <br /> September 24,2008 in Richmond, VA;and <br /> ® WHEREAS, the City Manager is requesting approval of his attendance of the ICMA Annual <br /> Conference with the City of St. Anthony absorbing all costs related to this trip. <br /> THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony does hereby <br /> approves the City Manager's attendance of the International City Manager's <br /> Association(ICMA) Conference in Richmond, VA <br /> Adopted this 11th day of March,2008. <br /> 0 <br /> Mayor Pro Tem <br /> ATTEST: bdku&�4� <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: <br /> City anager <br /> • <br />
