• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br /> RESOLUTION 08 -043 <br /> A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> THE ST. ANTHONY POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE ST. PAUL POLICE <br /> DEPARTMENT DURING THE 2008 REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION <br /> WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony's Police Department has a mutual aid agreement <br /> with the City of St. Paul's Police Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of St. Paul's Police Department asked under this mutual aid <br /> agreement for the City of St. Anthony's Police Department assistance <br /> during the 2008 Republican National Convention; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of St. Paul has created a Joint Powers Agreement for St. <br /> Anthony's Assistance during the 2008 Republican National Convention. <br /> BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> • approves the Joint Powers Agreement between the St. Anthony Police <br /> Department and the St. Paul Police Department during the 2008 <br /> Republican National Convention. <br /> Given my hand and seal this 24th day of June, 2008. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: U/Y V Lt <br /> City Clerk <br /> Review for Administration: <br /> City Manager <br /> • <br />
