• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br /> Resolution 08-060 <br /> A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF ST. ANTHONY-NEW BRIGHTON SCHOOL <br /> DISRICT #282 COMMUNITY SERVICES RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS <br /> FOR 2009 AND 2010 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Anthony recognizes that the St. <br /> Anthony-New Brighton School District #282 Community Services provide <br /> a variety of recreational opportunities and senior citizen activities to <br /> community residents; and <br /> WHEREAS, due to changes enacted by the Minnesota State Legislature, St. Anthony- <br /> New Brighton School District #282 is no longer allowed to levy $52,175 for <br /> the cost of operating Community Services; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council supports recreational opportunities and senior citizen <br /> activities for residents of the community and wishes Community Services <br /> to continue to provide these services. <br /> • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> hereby authorizes renewal of the support of St. Anthony-New Brighton Community <br /> Services Recreational Programs for 2009 and 2010 for$52,175. <br /> Adopted this 23rd day of September, 2008 <br /> ayor <br /> r <br /> ATTEST: kuw� <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for Administration: <br /> aall A- <br /> City nager <br /> • <br /> ZACouncil Meetings\2008\09232008\rescommserv.doc <br />
