<br /> A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR
<br /> 2009 STREET AND UTILITY I IPROVEMENTS
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan
<br /> for the above-referenced project,bids were received,opened and tabulated
<br /> according to law,and the following bids were received complying with the
<br /> advertisement:

<br /> WHEREAS, it appears that Northwest Asphalt, Inc. of Shakopee,MN is the lowest responsible
<br /> bidder,
<br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony:
<br /> 1. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
<br /> with Northwest Asphalt,Inc. in the amount of$1,866,867.79 in the name of the City of St.
<br /> Anthony,Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above-referenced project according
<br /> to the plans and specifications,therefore, approved by the City Council and on file in the
<br /> office of the City Clerk.
