CITY OF ST.ANTHONY VILLAGE <br /> RESOLUTION 10-013 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF ST.ANTHONY <br /> TO ENTER INTO A CONSTRUCTION COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT <br /> WITH THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF SILVER LANE <br /> WHEREAS, the City of St.Anthony has prepared final plans and specifications for the reconstruction <br /> of Silver Lane between Silver Lake Road and 164'Avenue SW, <br /> WHEREAS, the City of St.Anthony has prepared a construction agreement for the reconstruction of <br /> Silver Lane, <br /> WHEREAS, the agreement states the total cost of the project will be shared equally by the Cities <br /> except that the costs for sidewalk,street lighting,sanitary sewer,and water distribution <br /> improvements will be paid by the benefited City, <br /> WHEREAS, after the award by the City of St. Anthony to the successful bidder on the Project,the <br /> City of St.Anthony shall invoice the City of New Brighton for ninety five(95)percent of <br /> the estimated City of New Brighton share in the contract construction and engineering <br /> costs for the Project, <br /> WHEREAS, payments shall be made to the City of St. Anthony, in the name of the City of St. <br /> Anthony,by the City of New Brighton for the full amount due stated on the invoices <br /> within thirty(30)days of the invoice date, <br /> WHEREAS, the City of New Brighton will pay the remaining five(5)percent, including additional <br /> costs resulting from supplemental agreements and change orders,within thirty(30)days <br /> after completion of the proposed improvements. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony: <br /> Authorizes City Staff to enter into the construction agreement with the City of New Brighton for the <br /> reconstruction of Silver Lane between Silver Lake Road and 16d'Avenue SW. <br /> Adopted this 12d'day of Januar ,2010. <br /> y � � u�� Mayor <br /> ATTEST: I "�Y a,,,( <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: <br /> City MJagger <br /> W 626-18WminTesolutionIRES 08-015.doc <br />
