CITY OF ST.ANTHONY VILLAGE RESOLUTION 10-022 A RESOLUTION CALLING A HEARING ON 2010 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to direction of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony,a report has been prepared with reference to the improvements: 2010 Street and Utility Improvements Project This project consists of street reconstruction,replacement of sanitary sewer, water main and storm sewer lines, sidewalk improvements,and street lighting improvements in the following locations: 1. Street and Utility Reconstruction ■ Silver Lane from Silver Lake Road to 16t1i Avenue SW 2. Bituminous Mill and Overlay ■ Old Highway 8 from Highway 88 to 33`1 Avenue NE ■ Highcrest Road from 33`d Avenue NE to 37h Avenue NE 3. Sidewalk and Street Lighting Improvements ■ Silver Lane from Stinson Boulevard to 16`h Avenue SW NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony,Minnesota: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street and utilities in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvements of$1,375,000. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on the 23`d day of March 2010,in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as possible,and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed improvements to be published twice in the official newspaper at least one week apart and at least three days prior to the hearing.
