CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br /> RESOLUTION 10-044 <br /> RESOLUTION FOR APPROVAL OF THE REQUEST FROM DORAN COMPANIES,LLC, <br /> FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE SILVER LAKE VILLAGE <br /> PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) SIGN PLAN TO ALLOW FOR <br /> THE MODIFICATION OF EXISTING GROUND SIGNS AND <br /> THE ADDITION OF ONE GROUND SIGN. <br /> WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was scheduled with the Planning Commission for May 18,2010 to <br /> consider approving an amendment to the Silver Lake Village PUD Sign Plan as <br /> proposed by Doran Companies;and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants presented their request according to the requirements of the City Code as <br /> found at Section 152.206(B),REVISIONS AND/OR CHANGES;and <br /> WHEREAS, The City Council reviewed the proposed amendment to the Sign Plan at their regularly <br /> scheduled Council meeting on May 25,2010 and tabled the request by Doran <br /> Companies for further consideration by the Planning Commission;and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission received and reviewed revisions submitted by Doran <br /> Companies at the regularly scheduled June 15,2010 meeting;and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission voted to recommend approval of the revised proposed <br /> amendment to the Silver Lake Village PUD Sign Plan,which incorporates 1 new <br /> ground sign,9 feet high with 96 SF for double sided sign copy to be located at 3800 <br /> Silver Lake Road;to modify an existing ground sign,9 feet high and increasing the <br /> double sided sign copy to 96 SF,located at 3900 Silver Lake Road;and modifying the <br /> existing Cub Foods sign to increase its height to 24 feet so as to accommodate the <br /> addition of a 104 SF double sided sign. All signs that are made part of this motion are <br /> proposed to have installed as part of a cohesive design element,a twelve(12)inch cap <br /> for the ground signs and a 24 inch cap for the Cub ground sign. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED,that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony does hereby approve the application <br /> from Doran Companies,LLC, to amend the Sign Plan to the Silver Lake Village Planned <br /> Unit Development Agreement as originally adopted on April 24,2004. <br /> Adopted this 22nd day of Lune 2010. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for Administration: <br /> City Manager <br />
