CITY OF ST ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION No. 11-054 <br /> A RESOLUTION SETTING THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br /> PROPOSED 2012 TAX LEVY AND GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET. <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota State Law requires the City of St. Anthony Village provide Hennepin and Ramsey <br /> Counties with a proposed 2012 certified property tax levy and operating budget;and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council discussed key financial issues and budgeting goals at the January, 2011, goal <br /> setting session, held a Public Hearing on April 26, 2011, reviewed the 2012 property tax levy, <br /> budget and the capital equipment needs at their April 4, 2011, May 2nd, 2011, May 31 st, 2011 <br /> and August 1st,2011,work sessions; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council further reviewed the proposed 2012 property tax levy and general operating <br /> budget at the August 9, 2011,council meeting; and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed tax levy and budget is contingent upon any revisions allowed if the current law is <br /> modified; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council will determine a definitive property tax levy and budget at the Tuesday, <br /> December 13, 2011,budget meeting held at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> 1) The proposed collectible 2012 Property Tax Levy is: <br /> General Operating Fund Property Tax Levy $3,045,166.00 <br /> Road Improvement Levy $1,500,754.84 <br /> Lease Revenue Bonds $ 409,773.00 <br /> Housing&Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 110,500.00 <br /> Tax Abatement Levy $ 149,394.82 <br /> PERA Rate Increase Levy $ 7,500.00 <br /> Total Proposed 2012 Tax Levy $5,223,088.66 <br /> 2) The proposed 2012 General Operating Budget totals $5,498,650. <br /> Adopted this 13th day of September, 201 <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: &k&M26&U I <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for Administration: <br /> Interim City Manager <br />
