CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 12-039 <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A REQUEST TO KEEP <br /> NO MORE THAN FIVE FEMALE CHICKENS IN AN R-1 ZONING DISTRICT <br /> AT 3013 29`h AVENUE NE <br /> WHEREAS, Staff received a request from Eric Moore, 3013 291h Avenue NE, about <br /> whether or not the City allows chickens in the residential zoning district; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony Code of Ordinances, Section 91.56,Keeping of <br /> Certain Animals, specifies that livestock, including chickens,require <br /> approval from the City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, Eric Moore has submitted a written request to keep chickens for approval <br /> from the City Council, as outlined in Subsection 91.56; and <br /> WHEREAS, Eric Moore has submitted a diagram of the location of the coop that will <br /> house the chickens; and <br /> WHEREAS, Hennepin County Environmental Health Division has stated that this matter <br /> is within the City's jurisdiction and authority; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. <br /> Anthony approves the request to keep no more than five (5) female <br /> chickens in an R-1 Zoning District at 3013 291h Avenue NE <br /> Adopted this 27tb day of March, 2012. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: Va�A cm, <br /> City Manager <br />
