Appointment of Planning Commission Members <br /> 5. Public Hearing-None <br /> 6. Ordinances & Resolutions <br /> a. Ordinance Regarding Elections: The ordinance will bring us into <br /> conformity with the new state statutes regarding elections. The Council <br /> must decide which terms they desire to extend or shorten and whether they <br /> want odd or even year elections. <br /> Action: Recommend odd year elections to avoid possibility of having to <br /> use paper ballots. ' <br /> b. Resolution Transferring Revenue Sharing Monies. Resolution #74-012 <br /> The enclosed resolution will transfer funds from the separate revenue <br /> sharing fund we are required to have into the police department salary <br /> fund to provide money for the additional patrolmen who is beginning <br /> employment this week. <br /> Action: Recommend approval. <br /> 7. Old Business <br /> a. Terry Hoffman regarding Wetlands Ordinance. Mr. Hoffman who served <br /> as chairman of the committee Mr. Miedtke appointed to study the Wetlands <br /> Ordinance will report on their progress. <br /> b. Mr. & Mrs. Henkle-regarding preliminary plat approval for their property <br /> located at 3824 Foss Road. <br /> Action: Council <br /> 8. New Business <br /> a. Discussion of lighting tennis courts. If the Council still intends to <br /> have the tennis courts lighted for this summer, bids should be taken in the <br /> near future. <br /> Action: Council <br /> b. Discussion of conflict of party caucuses and council meeting on February <br /> 26th. .Political party caucus have been scheduled for February 26th the same <br /> night as our 2nd meeting in February. If some of the council plan to <br /> attend the caucus or if you feel we shouldn't meet the same night we should <br /> discuss alternate plans. <br /> Action: Recommend we either cancel meeting or move to week earlier or later <br /> Othan normal. <br /> c. Salvation Army re: sign variance . .some months ago the Planning Board voted <br /> against granting a variance to allow a free standing sign for the camp <br />
