Discussion of meeting with fiscal consultants Springsteds regarding <br /> assessment procedures. Our representative from Springsted won't be able to <br /> schedule a meeting the week of August 4-10 and has suggested August 14 instead. <br /> ACTION: Council <br /> c. Street Improvement Project-Comstock & Davis have not received the soil <br /> boring report yet. Therefore we will probably not have any additional <br /> information for this meeting. <br /> d. Discussion of extension of bike route,Jim Fornell has discussed <br /> proposed plan with New Brighton and will report on that discussion as well as <br /> a meeting he attended regarding bike routes statewide. I will report re- <br /> garding my discussion with Columbia Heights and the Kiwanis Club. <br /> 8. New Business <br /> 9. Communications/Petitions <br /> a. Independent School District #282 regarding use of room at Wilshire. En- <br /> closed please find a letter from Dr. Renz regarding the room at Wilshire. I <br /> should point out that School Board regulations prohibit political groups <br /> from using their facilities. <br /> b. Letter-Donald Cottle regarding revision of Silver Take Road. Mr. Cottle <br /> called me expressing his concern and I suggested he write the Council express- <br /> his concern before we approve the final plans for the project. <br /> c. Hennepin County Public Works regarding proposed construction program. <br /> Several weeks ago you received a proposed construction program from Hennepin <br /> County that indicated there were projects in St. Anthony on 37th and 29t1h. The <br /> report also indicated that St. Anthony would be expected to participate and <br /> the enclosed letter is their response. I feel we should discuss this proposal <br /> before it proceeds any further or before we are faced with a request to <br /> approve the plans, etc. <br />
