Resolution 74-024 This is a routine resolution splitting the assess- <br /> ments on the Henkel property among the new lots. <br /> ACTION: Adopt resolution 74--024. <br /> 7. Old Business <br /> a. Kiwanis Club bike route signs. The Kiwanis Club has agreed to purchase <br /> a sufficient number of signs to mark the bike route if the City agrees to <br /> • purchase "bicycle crossing" signs for placement at busy intersections. I <br /> will have a map of the proposed route and the location of the bike crossing <br /> signs. There will probably have to be a budget transfer at a later date <br /> to purchase the signs. <br /> ACTION: Council review of bike plan and sign purchases. <br /> b. Hennepin County Lawsuit re: Back taxes on the Office Park. This suit <br /> by Hennepin County attempted to collect for back taxes allegedly owned by <br /> Sunset Memorial Park for the Office Park site. The County considered the <br /> holding of this land to be for speculative purposes. St. Anthony may be <br /> entitled to a portion of the back taxes if the judgement is upheld. <br /> ACTION: Discuss, file. <br /> 8. New Business <br /> a. Flection Judges List. The list is properly divided between partisans <br /> of each political party. <br /> ACTION: Approve <br /> b. Budget Hearing Schedule. Jerry has proposed September 3 and 17th, and <br /> October 1st with certification to the county on October 8th. <br /> ACTION: Review and modify to fit your schedules, if necessary. <br /> c. Expansion of the Apache On-Sale Lounge. Jerry would like to know how <br /> the Council feels about talking to the Apache Management and Mad Hatter <br /> about the possibility of acquiring the cafeteria for expansion room. <br /> ACTION: Council discussion. <br />
