Resolution 74-039 A RESOLUTION MODIFYING THE 1974 BUDGET <br /> The enclosed resolution is a routine bookkeeping resolution that will <br /> accomplish the transfer of funds from accounts that are short to accounts <br /> that have surplusses so that all accounts end up in the black for the year. <br /> ACTION: Recommend approval. <br /> b. Resolution 74-040 A RESOLUTION MODIFYING THE 1974 BUDGET <br /> This resolution accomplished the transfer of money from the miscellaneous <br /> receipts fund to the expenditure fund that the money was spent from. <br /> • 7. Old Business <br /> a. Discussion of bulletin boards or message boards for announcing city <br /> meetings. I will have pictures of the various types available and prices <br /> for you to review. <br /> b. Assessment Policy - In your folder you will find a proposed policy, memo <br /> from Jim regarding past assessments and a report from Larry Hamer, Public Works <br /> Supt. regarding the city streets and other functions under his control. <br /> ACTION: I recommend we review and revise as Council desires. <br /> c. Gordon Hedlund.-Applications for public hearing for rezoning for Country <br /> Kitchen and hearing for conditional use permit for office building. I don't <br /> have the applications at this time but will include them if I receive them <br /> before we send agendas out. I believe the Country Kitchen will be in the <br /> same location as we saw previously and the office building is proposed for <br /> the small .green house on the south end of the property. <br /> ACTION: Schedule public hearings if applicable. <br /> 8. New Business <br /> a. Discussion of fertilizer use in parks. The maintenance department presently <br /> uses approximately four tons of fertilizer in the parks each year. With the <br /> shortages of fertilizer and food that now exist I question whether we should <br /> continue this practice. If we stop applying fertilizer we will probably not <br /> • have as attractive parks as we presently do but I don't know if there would be <br /> much difference. We ivould save some money by discontinuing fertilizer <br /> applications also. <br /> ACTION: Council <br />
