Ordinances/Resolutions <br /> 7. Old Business <br /> a. Metro Council re: rent assistance program. I talked to Ms. Reeves this <br /> week following a meeting the Metro Council staff had with HUD officials and <br /> she informed me that we can set the number of units we want. She also <br /> indicated that we probably won't get the 30 or 40 she originally talked <br /> about. <br /> ACTION: Recommend adoption of resolution. <br /> 8. New Business <br /> a. Ramsey County in cooperation with Hennepin County has prepared pre- <br /> liminary plans for Co. Rd. C from TH8 to the Roseville boundary and asked <br /> that I have the Council review them. <br /> ACTION: Make recommendations to Ramsey County <br /> 9. Communications <br /> a. Letter from Lapp, Laurie, etc. , Attorney for Northgate Motel regarding <br /> vacation of Coolidge Street. I see no reason for the City to keep the right <br /> of way as long as we keep utility easements. <br /> ACTION: Recommend we call hearing to vacate street. <br /> b. State of Minnesota regarding reconveyance of surplus right of way. The <br /> property in question is in front of the Northgate Motel and I see no reason <br /> for the City to object to the reconveyance. <br /> ACTION: Recommend City concur with states recommendation. <br /> c. League of Minnesota Municipalities regarding legislative conference. <br /> Informational. <br /> i d. Letter from Vi Vescio regarding leave of absence. Ms. Vescio has had to <br /> reenter the hospital because of illness and would like an additional leave <br /> without pay. <br /> ACTION: Recommend we grant leave. <br /> f <br />
