As I <br /> stated earlier I see no reason to keep the right-of--way as long as we <br /> acquire easements for our utilities. <br /> ACTION: Recommend approval of resolution subject to receiving easements <br /> from recipients of property. <br /> 6. Ordinances & Resolutions <br /> a. Resolution 75-015. A RFSOLUTION HFGARDING OPPOSITION TO A PROPOSED <br /> RAMSFY COUNTY POLICF DFPARTMFNT. Chief Brown has requested we adopt the <br /> attached resolution which is identical to the one we reviewed at the <br /> • last meeting which was adopted by New Brighton. <br /> ACTION: Recommend we adopt as other communities in Ramsey County have <br /> to demonstrate our unity with others in opposition to the proposed bill. <br /> T. Old Business <br /> a. Twin City Federal Conditional Use Permit request. I have had no <br /> contact with TCF or anyone representing them since the meeting of 225. <br /> ACTION: Council <br /> b. Agreement with Salvation Army regarding use of Salvation Army Camp. <br /> I will have copies of the agreement which has undergone minor revisions <br /> since you last reviewed it at the meeting. Mr. James Browny Salvation <br /> Army Camp Director will be in attendance to discuss the agreement and <br /> a tentative proposal he has to add a children's farm to the camp. <br /> ACTION: Recommend approval of agreement so we can begin as early in the <br /> spring as possible to build nature trail. <br /> c. Approve specifications and authorize taking of bids for street <br /> sweeper. Attached you will find the proposed specifications. Following <br /> the acceptance of the bids and the award of the contract the staff will <br /> process the paper work for selling the certificates of indebtedness to <br /> pay for the sweeper. <br /> • ACTION: Approve specifications authorizing taking of bids. <br /> 8. New Business <br />
