The Sun Newspaper <br /> published our notice in the South St. Paul Sun instead of the N.F. <br /> Suburban Sun. We should consider the letter from Ice regarding alternatives <br /> in the area of Silver Lane though. <br /> 6. Ordinances & Resolutions <br /> a. Sewer Rate Ordinance amendment. 1-lis T:UL be d .ccussed r_ie mee-1-in- <br /> of JI.ne 10t,11. <br /> ._J <br /> b. Resolution regarding Sale of Certificates of Indebtedness. I haven't <br /> received the resolution from Mr. Flader of the Dorsey Firm yet but I plan <br /> to have it at the meeting. <br /> • ACTION: Adopt resolution so certificates can be sold for equipment. <br /> 7. Old Business <br /> 8. New Business <br /> a. Quotes regarding repair of tennis courts. Enclosed is the quote from <br /> Action Courts. We are supposed to have additional quotes before Tuesday. <br /> b. Bill Olsen.-Metro Flea Market regarding signing.Mr. Olsen operator of <br /> Metro Flea Market feels that his business should qualify for a larger <br /> sign as a shopping center would. I advised him that the Council would have <br /> to make a determination as to whether his business qualifies as a shopping <br /> center, etc. Mr. Olsen will be present to discuss the situation with the <br /> Council. <br /> ACTION: Council <br /> 9. Communications & Petitions <br /> a. Letter from Rosemarie Christen regarding caboose. A light would cost <br /> approximately $60 per year however the Council should be aware that we will <br /> already exceed our lighting budget for the year. <br /> b. Ramey County regarding left turn lane off Silver Lake Road. Letter <br /> attached. <br /> • ACTION: Recommend we approve counties installing left turn lane provided <br /> landowner sign agreement before construction begins and either gives the <br /> city a deposit of an amount that will exceed the counties estimate for the <br /> cost of the work or puts money in escrow. <br />
