We budgeted $25,000 for this years general fund <br /> budget from revenue sharing. We need to adopt this resolution to transfer <br /> the money to the general fund. <br /> ACTION: Recommend approval <br /> T. Old Business <br /> 8. New Business <br /> a. Discussion of replacing boulevard trees lost to disease, etc. We have <br /> approximately $1500 in the budget this year for tree replacement. We have <br /> ® lost a few boulevard trees but I question whether we replace any boulevard <br /> trees unless it is the ones on St. Anthony Boulevard. We could either use <br /> the money to replace boulevard trees, plant trees in the parks and on other <br /> property we own or buy trees and give them to the residents to plant where- <br /> ever they wish. <br /> ACTION: Council <br /> b. Rules & Regulations for Police Department. The rules and regulations <br /> you find enclosed have been prepared by myself, the police chief and members <br /> of the department as a general guide for the officers to use in their <br /> performance of duty and general conduct. We would like the Council to <br /> approve and adopt the rules and regulations so there will be no question <br /> that they are properly instituted. <br /> ACTION: Recommend adoption. <br /> c. Request for increase in hourly salary by parttime firefighters. There <br /> is a memo enclosed for your information. <br /> ACTION: Council <br /> 9. Communications/Petitions <br /> a. Letter from League of Minnesota Municipalities regarding Open Meeting <br /> Law. Information from LMM attached. <br /> ACTION: Recommend we take steps as suggested. <br />
