Roy Anderson & John Wagner of Kiwanis regarding Peanut Days Sale. <br /> The gentlemen listed above will br present to request permission to sell <br /> at street corners, etc. in the city and to request the Mayor to proclaim <br /> • September 26th as Kiwanis Peanut Sales Day. <br /> ACTION: Recommend approval of request to sell as we have had no problems <br /> in the past. <br /> 9. Communications & Petitions <br /> a. Letter from Ramsey County regarding Co. Rd. C. Informational . <br /> ACTION: Council should set time and date for meeting. <br /> b. Letter Minnesota Department of Economic Development re: Internal Rev- <br /> enue Bond Financing. Informational . I don't feel that this information <br /> is adequate for me to make any recommendation to the Council and I will <br /> try to acquire additional information. <br /> c. Letter from Ramsey County regarding Lake Surface Use Plan. I feel <br /> the study suggested is long overdue and we should urge the county to <br /> proceed, however I don't feel the Committee needsi,to be a Committee of the <br /> Ramsey County League. <br /> ACTION: Council <br /> d. Report regarding Uncollectible checks (Liquor Store) report attached. <br /> Please keep confidential . The loss this year is lower than for previous <br /> years and I feel it is due primarily to the hard work of the liquor <br /> • manager and his assistant. <br /> ACTION: File <br /> e. Problem with walkway between 29th Avenue and St. Anthony Boulevard. <br /> I have contacted the Minn. Hwy Dept. regarding this problem and they <br /> indicated they would advise me on what action they would take in a week <br /> or two. <br /> f. Dorsey Firm regarding zoning laws. Informational . This type of <br /> situation could occur on Silver' Lake. <br /> g. Dorsey Firm regarding Special Assessments. Bill Soth who prepared <br /> this letter and has analyzed the whole situation will be at the meeting <br /> to discuss it with the council . <br /> ACTION: I would suggest we take action to collect these wnnies immediat- <br /> ely.
