Notices <br /> have been delivered to residents in St. Anthony and mailed <br /> to New Brighton residents with property adjacent to the <br /> • holding pond. In addition, stakes were placed to indicate <br /> approximately where the City of St. Anthony Property line <br /> is located. Larry Hamer, Superintendent of Public Works <br /> and myself have toured the site and feel that the pathway <br /> is feasible, although there will be some problems where the <br /> bank is rather steep on the north end and along the east <br /> side where there are some problems with soil stability. We <br /> have also reconsidered our earlier proposal for a bridge <br /> below the inlet and would plan to put a walkway over the top <br /> of it with some protective fencing. There will be some <br /> ongoing maintenance costs as the chips deteriorate etc. <br /> ACTION: Council. <br /> B. Metro Transit Commission regarding proposed construction of <br /> Bus Shelter. I have written to Mr. Schumi indicating ap- <br /> proval of the location and installation. <br /> ACTION: File. <br /> 8. New Business <br /> ' A. Maintenance Agreement between City and Ramsey County. At- <br /> tached is the agreement that will provide for reimbursing the <br /> City for sweeping Silver Lane. <br /> ACTION: Recommend Approval. <br />
