Agenda Item 3a <br /> MINUTES OF SPECIAL COUNTIL MEETING <br /> VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> March 20, 1965 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Upon special call and written consent, a special meeting was called to <br /> order by Mayor James H. McNulty at 9:30 AM. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> The following members of the Council were present and approved the special <br /> meeting in writing: <br /> Bailey <br /> Erickson <br /> Sorenson <br /> McNulty <br /> Absent and excused, was Councilman Dougherty. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Erickson, seconded by Councilman Sorenson, it <br /> was mov^d to award the purchase of a two stage rotary compressor to <br /> Road Machinery and Supplies Co. , Inc. in the amount of $4,060. <br /> Motion carried by 4 yea votes. <br /> Absent and not voting was Councilman Dougherty. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson, seconded by Councilman Bailey, it <br /> was moved to reject the bids for a tandem drive motor grader opened <br /> March 4, 1965 and to instruct the Village Manager to redraw specifications <br /> allowing optional bids on machines with both hydraulic and mechanical <br /> controls. <br /> Motion carried by a 4 yea vote. <br /> Absent, not voting, was Councilman Dougherty. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Bailey, seconded by Councilman Erickson, it <br /> was moved to authorize preliminary plans and estimates to be made to <br /> provide water service from Silver Lake Court to the Salvation Army Camp <br /> subject to approval by the Salvation Army to pay the costs for that portion <br /> of the engineering from Silver Lake Road in the event the improvement were <br /> to be not made. <br /> Motion carried by a b, yea vote. <br /> Absent, not voting, was Councilman Dougherty. <br /> Upon general consent Mayor McNulty ordered the meeting adjourned at 11 :50 AM. <br /> �• d <br /> lay <br /> ' ATTEST: <br /> '� o�ar.� we •vis <br /> Manage <br />
