Market which had <br /> formerly been Jerry's. <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Erickson, seconded by Councilman Dougherty, it was <br /> moved to waive reading and adopt Resolution No. 65-037 approving construction <br /> plans of the Minnesota State Highway Department relative to Trunk Highway 8 <br /> from 29th Ave. to the Village limits; subject to approval of the Village Engineer. <br /> RESOLUTION No. 65-037 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT CONSTRUCTION PLANS <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mayor McNulty reported the resignation of George DeAngelo from the Parks and <br /> Recreation Advisory Committee; and submitted the name of H. L. Northfield to <br /> fill the vacancy created by the resignation. <br /> Upon motion by Mayor McNulty, seconded by Councilman Erickson, it was moved <br /> to concur in the appointment of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee. <br /> ' The motion carried unanimously. <br /> 8. OLD BUSINESS <br /> The Village Manager reported upon the request for a street light by <br /> Carl Looyen indicating that the matter would again be placed upon the agenda <br /> when the neighbors have been contacted. <br /> 9. VERIFIED CLAIMS <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Bailey, seconded by Councilman Sorenson, it was <br /> moved to approve the verified claims. <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br /> 10. CONTRACT PAYMENTS <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson, seconded by Councilman Bailey, the <br /> request by Brauer and Associates for partial payment in the amount of $500 <br /> for final plans, working drawings and bidding 1965 construction was moved <br /> for approval. <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br /> ' Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson, seconded by Councilman Dougherty, request <br /> for payment for mid-decennial census contract in the amount of $704.36 for <br /> -- purchases, enumerators and crew leaders, was moved for approval of payment. <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br />
