Upon order of Mayor McNulty the discussion of the request of Carl Looyen to install a street light at 36th Avenue N. E. and Belden Drive was deferred to the meeting of'May 11, 1965. ' Upon motion by Councilman Bailey seconded by Councilman Sorenson, it was moved to award the 1965 Park Construction Contract in the amount of $36,724.00 to Victor A. Carlson & Sons., Inc. subject to action by Independent School District #282 to: 1. Award contract for construction of tennis courts to Victor A. Carlson & Sons, Inc.; and 2. Convey to the Village 35.$ feet of a previously conveyed parcel in conformity to the Central Park Master Plan; and to authorize the Village Manager to execute contracts therefore; and failing the above actions, to reject the bids. The motion carried unanimously. Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty seconded by Council Sorenson it was moved to adopt Resolution No. 65-039 and Resolution No. 65-040. RESOLUTION NO. 65-039 RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE APPORTION OF ASSESSMENTS FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS ON LOT 12, BLOCK 5, MOUNDS VIEW ACRES, SECOND ADDITION. RESOLUTION N0. 65-040 ' RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE APPORTIONMENT OF ASSESSMENTS FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS ON THE S, 125 FEET OF LOTS 5, & 6, EX. WE W 125, FEET TIMEREOF BLOCK ^o, MOUNDS VIEW ACRES SECOND ADDITION, The motion carried unanimously. Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty seconded by Councilman Dailey, it was moved to adopt Resolution No. 65-041 Opposing Change in the .Administration of Direct Relief in Hennepin County. RESOLUTION N0. 65-041 RESOLUTION OPPOSING CHANGE IN THE AD;'INISTRATION OF DIRECT RELIEF IN HEMNEPIN COUNTY. The motion carried unanimously. 9. VERIFIED CLAIMS Upon motion by Councilman Erickson_ seconded by Councilman Sorenson, it was moved authorize verified claims and approve payment thereof. The motion carried unanimously. 10.
