-7- <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Councilman Bailey, it was moved that <br /> W. R. Dougherty be named Mayor Pro-Tem. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Mayor O'Connor seconded by Councilman Dougherty, it was moved that <br /> the firm of Erickson, Popham, Haik, & Schnobrich be retained as Village Attorneys. <br /> Retainer fee schedule at $500.00 per month and court costs at minimum Bar Assoc- <br /> iation rates. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Bailey seconded by Councilman Dougherty, it was moved that <br /> the Village Manager's recommendation of the appointment of the firm of Comstock & <br /> Davis as Village Consultant Engineers for general engineering work be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> The Village Attorney reported that the Century Capital Law Suit had been settled, <br /> that the property remains residential RI, with four lots retained as R2. <br /> The Village Manager was instructed to notify Mr. Horton Connett, developer of prop- <br /> erty in the litigation, of the Planning Boards Meeting of January 18th & also to <br /> inform former Mayor McNulty and former Councilman Erickson of the settlement. <br /> The Village Manager was instructed to have Mr, Dave Doty inform Larkin McCelian, <br /> Business Agent local No. 49, that the Council 's action in setting salaries for the <br /> . Public Works Department, per budget, would remain as proposed. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Councilman Dougherty, it was moved <br /> that the meeting be adjourned. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Vi 1 la'ge�Clerk Ma ger <br />
