4 <br /> VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> February 8, 1966 <br /> The regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of St. Anthony was <br /> called to order by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday February 8, 1966. <br /> The following were present at roll call : <br /> Curtis O'Connor, W. R. Dougherty, Clem Springer, Robert Bailey, Richard <br /> Sorenson, <br /> also present: <br /> Village Attorney, Raymond Haik <br /> Village Manager, John Printon <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> None <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty seconded by Councilman Bailey it was moved <br /> that the minutes of the regular meeting of January 25, 1966 be approved as <br /> submitted. <br /> • Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Bailey seconded by Councilman Sorenson it was moved <br /> that the minutes of the special meeting of February 1 , 1966 be approved as <br /> submitted. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Mr. Hamilton, Park Board Chairman, presented the action as taken by the Park <br /> Board at its regular meeting of February 3, 1966. The Village Manager was <br /> directed to order a concrete turtle to replace the one that was damaged in <br /> Silver Point Park. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Councilman Bailey it was moved <br /> that the Village Manager be directed to call for bids for the Construction of <br /> a wading pool for Central Park, and that specifications include bids for a <br /> circular pool and also for a rectangular pool of equal volume. <br /> Voting on the Motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson. <br /> Nay: None <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Information on Federal funds for Parks and Recreation areas was turned over <br /> to the Village Attorney for recommendation. <br /> After further discussion of Parks and Park Programs, the minutes of the Park <br /> Board for the meeting of February 3 were ordered filed. <br />
