-3- <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> 3-RESOLUTION N0, 66-032 <br /> RESOLUTION RECEIVING ENGINEERS PRELIMINARY REPORT ON <br /> IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE YEAR 1966. <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Dougherty. <br /> Voting onthe resolution: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Nay: None <br /> The resolution was declared adopted. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Bailey seconded by Councilman Sorenson it was moved pro— <br /> posed resolution No. 66-031 be tabled to the next meeting, April 26, 1966. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> DeWayne Olson, Village Engineer, reviewed in detail the preliminary report sub- <br /> mitted to the Council for the construction of drainage systems to serve Drainage <br /> Districts #1 and A. The Village Attorney was instructed to draft a letter to <br /> the Village of New Brighton outlining the St. Anthony Village engineers proposal <br /> on the distribution of costs. <br /> The meeting was recessed at 9:50 P.M. and reconvened at 10:00 P.M. all present. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty seconded by Councilman Sorenson it was moved <br /> that the State Highway Department be notified that the Village is agreeable to <br /> paying engineering costs and lighting costs for the installation of traffic <br /> control signals at County Road C and Highway No. 8. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Bailey seconded by Councilman Sorenson it was moved <br /> that the petition of Horton Connett for the installation of sewer and water <br /> line extension to serve Pat-Pen plat be accepted and placed on file. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Representatives of Empire Sales Incorporated presented their request for the <br /> lowering the grade of Macalaster Drive South of 39th Avenue N.E. After discuss- <br /> ion of costs and consideration of an assessment improvement to lower the water <br /> line: `nl sewer manhole affected,it was agreed that the petitioners would contact <br /> other properties affected relative to sharing of the costs involved and report tc <br /> the Council at the April 26th meeting. <br /> Upon motion by Mayor O'Connor seconded by Councilman Bailey it was moved that tha <br /> City Manager be authorized to advertise for bids for Village insurance. Bids to <br /> be opened May 20, 1966. <br /> voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Nay: None <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
