It was mentioned that a speed limit of 30 M.P.H. <br /> should be considered at such time the R/W is turned back to the Village. <br /> The Village Attorney, Raymond Haik, reported on a letter sent to the Division <br /> of Waters relative to Columbia Heights proposed construction of a Swimming Beach <br /> on Silver Lake. He stated that in as much as no Village property was involved <br /> the letter was sent in the name of the lake property owners in St. Anthony <br /> Village. <br /> The meeting recessed at 9:40 P.M. and reconvened at 9:50 P.M., all present. <br /> An assessment for a waterworks improvement assessed by the Village of New Brighton <br /> • against Village owned property, holding pond, in New Brighton was discussed and <br /> Raymond Haik, Village Attorney, informed the Village Council that he was neg- <br /> otiating a waiver of interest on the assessment with Perry Copeland, New Brighton <br /> Village Attorney, and would appraise the Village Manager of the net amount due. <br />
