VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> February 14, 1967 <br /> The regular meeting of the Village Council of St. Anthony was called to order <br /> by the Mayor Pro Tem at 8:00 o'clock PM on Tuesday February 14, 1967. <br /> The following were present at roll call : <br /> Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Absent: <br /> O'Connor <br /> Also present : Village Attorney, Raymond Haik <br /> Village Manager, John Printon <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Bailey seconded by Councilman Springer it was moved <br /> that the minutes of the regular meeting of January 24, 1967 be approved as <br /> submitted. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> • Mr. George Erickson Jr. presented the February 2, 1967 Park Board Minutes. <br /> Mr. Erickson requested that the owners adjacent to the north boundary of <br /> Central Park be notified of a discussion to be held relative to the location <br /> of the proposed Park Shelter at the Boards March 2nd meeting. <br /> After discussion by Mr. Erickson pointing out the need for professional guid- <br /> ance in the location of the building by the Park Board, the Village Council <br /> approved Mr . Brauer's attendance at such meetings as the Board deems necessary. <br /> The Village Manager was instructed to contact Mr. Brauer in regard to attend- <br /> ing a meeting with the Park Board prior to the March 2nd meeting and also to <br /> request of Mr. Brauer the per hour rate for his services on such a basis. <br /> Mr. Thompson, Board Secretary, is to be notified as to Mr. Brauer 's availab- <br /> ility. <br /> A request by the St. Anthony Post, American Legion, to use Diamond one Central <br /> Park was discussed. It was the Park Boards feeling that a void existed in the <br /> age group represented in the Babe Ruth League age group and that if the <br /> St . Anthony High School ball diamond was not available that permission should <br /> be granted to use the field as requested provided the pitchers mound is not <br /> altered or moved to interfere with the Little League use of the field. The <br /> Village Manager was instructed to contact Mr. Tingum relative to the avail - <br /> , ibility of the new field and to coordinate the request with Mr. Weinmeyer, <br /> Legion Baseball Manager. <br /> A tabulation of bids received is as follows: <br /> BIDS ON VEHICLES - <br /> Minar Ford Inc. <br /> One 4 door patrol custom 2,674.58 <br /> One 1/2 ton pickup truck 1,632.75 <br /> One 3/4 ton pickup truck 1,930-80 <br /> Total Bid less trade6,238-13 <br /> Additional : Installed Air-conditioning 238.80 <br />
