�•3 <br /> -2- <br /> Voting <br /> 2-Voting on the resolution: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Nay: None <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> The Village Attorney was directed to request an Attorney General 's opinion <br /> regarding the division of property in Ramsey County. <br /> The Village Council received a petition submitted by Mrs. Taylor regarding <br /> a proposed sidewalk on Silver Lake Road. <br /> The Village Manager was directed to forward copies of withdrawals from the <br /> petition fcr sidewalks to Mr. Ron Ekstrom. <br /> The Mayor acknowledged the receipt of a petition opposing the parking of a <br /> vehicle at 2700 - 3212- Avenue N.E. He stated that the owner wilt be notified <br /> to comply with the ordinance. <br /> • The Council approved the use of Village vehicles to help the J.C.'s in their <br /> Clean Up Week Program, April 23 - 29. <br /> The Village Manager was directed to inform N.S.P. Company that inoperative <br /> ornamental lights at the entrance to Groes Golf Course would remain unrepaired <br /> at this time. <br /> Letters of communication were received and ordered filed. <br /> Councilman Springer moved that the Ogdahl - Metro Bill be approved. <br /> Motion not seconded. <br /> The Council agreed to meet at 5:00 o'clock P.M. Monday, April 17, 1967 to <br /> discuss location of a proposed sign for Liquor Store #1. <br /> Councilman Sorenson moved and seconded by Councilman Springer that the <br /> engineers certificate in the amount of $57.60 be tabled to clarify a charge <br /> for a state aid seminar. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Mayor O'Connor, seconded by Councilman Dougherty it was moved <br /> that the resignation of Kenneth Johnson, electrical inspector, be accepted. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Mayor O'Connor, seconded by Councilman Sorenson it was moved <br /> that a letter of commendation be forwarded to Kenneth Johnson for his service <br /> to the Village. <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
