i -4- The 4-The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Springer. Voting on the resolution: Aye: O'Connor, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson Nay: None Absent not voting: Dougherty Resolution declared adopted. A letter from Mr. Crouse regarding drainage of property at 36th and Silver Lake Road was received and the Village Manager was directed to acknowledge the letter and advise Mr. Crouse of the Village's action on the matter. Correspondence from the Village Attorney and owners of Diamond Eight properties regarding Surety Bond posting to guarantee payment of existing improvement liens was ordered filed. A request for removal of name from Sidewalk petition was received. A resolution of the P.T.A. Board of the St. Anthony High School regarding support of installation of sidewalks was received. Letters to the Village Coundl and Manager were received from the J.C.'s • regarding clean up Week. Copies were directed to be sent to the Village employees mentioned. The Council gave voice approval to the holding of the Annual Edison graduation Party at the Apache Center. The proposal for the establishing of a bike way in the Village was received. After discussion Councilman Sorenson moved and seconded by Councilman Bailey that the proposal be tabled for further study. Motion Carried. A request by Northwestern Bell Company for the intallation of buried cable from Stinson Boulevard, East as per plan was discussed. Mayor O'Connor moved and seconded by Councilmsn Springer that the proposal be approved subject to the approval of the Village engineer. Motion Carried. Councilman B�Aley was recorded as abstaining. Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Councilman Bailey it was moved that the properly verified claims be approved. Motion Carried. Upon motion by Mayor O'Connor seconded by Councilman Sorenson it was moved that the statement of Nason, Law,Wehrman, and Chapman, planners, not be paid. Motion Carried.
